Experiment to look at the specificity of PFKFB2 and PFKFB3 antibodies. HEK 293 cells were left untransfected or transfected with plasmids to express either GFP-PFKFB2 or GFP-PFKFB3. IgG antibodies, S244D (anti-PFKFB2), S246D (anti-PFKFB3) or anti- GFP binder beads, were used in immunoprecipitations from these lysates. Although there is a little cross reaction between the PFKFB2 and PFKFB3 antibodies, they are 90-95% specific for their respective targets.
